Scope of Coverage:
This policy provides financial support for revision surgery or re-operation deemed necessary to address complications arising post-surgery. It is essential to note that coverage is limited to procedures performed by surgeons within our network in Turkey.

Exclusions:
The policy excludes coverage for:

• Complications occurring during the initial surgery itself
• Damages resulting from medical malpractice
• Interventions or examinations required for unrelated medical conditions

Policy Duration and Geographical Coverage:
The insurance coverage is valid for a period of six months from the policy start date and applies only to the treatment of a single medical condition. Geographical coverage is restricted to procedures performed within the Republic of Turkey after the policy's effective date.

Eligibility:
Age Coverage is available for individuals between the ages of 5 and 75. Unfortunately, individuals aged 75 and above are not eligible for this insurance plan. Documentation To secure the policy, a valid passport number and a copy of the patient's flight ticket are required.

Compensation and Claims Process:
Required Documents: In the event of a covered complication, a formal claim must be submitted with the following documentation:

• Signed authorization letter from the insured patient.
• Original surgical report from the initial procedure.
• Detailed statement from the insured outlining the nature of the complication.
• Comprehensive medical report documenting the complication.
• Original invoices for any related medical expenses.

Compensation Process:
The compensation amount will be determined by the policy's coverage limit and cannot exceed the total limit for multiple complications arising from the same surgical procedure.

Payment Details:
Following a thorough review and evaluation period of 10 business days, the insured's qualifying medical expenses will be reimbursed directly to their nominated credit card or bank account.

PlaSurgery offers various insurance plans tailored to different surgical procedures. Here's a brief overview of the coverage details for each plan:
Bariatric & Aesthetics Surgery Plan:

• Covers complications listed in the provided information and consent form, excluding those resulting in death.
• Offers a guarantee for revision surgery in the case of unsuccessful bariatric procedures.

Dental Plan:

• Provides coverage for a wide range of dental procedures, with the exception of orthodontic treatments.
• It is important to note that compensation is not offered for complications arising from personal aesthetic preferences.

Hair Transplant Plan:

• Excludes coverage for complications caused by non-compliance with post-operative instructions.
• Reimbursement for complications is contingent upon confirmation within the doctor's report.

Accommodation and Travel Coverage:

• All plans include a limited daily accommodation guarantee, with a maximum of €100 per day. Specific surgical plans may offer higher limits or exemptions.
• Economy class flight ticket reimbursement is subject to the limits and exemptions outlined in the policy details.
• Comprehensive travel coverage, including health insurance, ambulance services, medical consultations, and funeral expenses (within specified limits), is included in all plans.

Important Notes: Reimbursement for optional accommodation expenses is not included unless deemed medically necessary. The need for medical necessity will be determined based on a review of medical reports.
